    THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD

     

    GENERAL DESCRIPTION:

    Candidate will ensure communications information is available to forward deployed forces supporting continuing mission requirements of the Department of Defense (DoD) by providing support to communications systems acquisition, integration, installation, operations & maintenance (O&M) in support of USAFCENT deployed mission requirements. There is no specification or limitation to the actual tasks to be performed. Candidate will work as part of a team and must display a rigorous work ethic and possess the initiative and independent thinking to thrive in a dynamic environment. Candidate must have the ability to engineer, install and maintain network equipment to support new and emerging requirements. The candidate shall provide responsive services to include real-time network-level configuration control, network restoration, quality control and performance standards, status reporting, MSL, and other actions required by policies, responsibilities and operational support to all NOSC deployed projects.

     

    GENERAL EXPERIENCE:

    Must possess senior level of experience in planning and scheduling various project workload. Must have experience in gathering and analyzing information to prepare status reports. Must have experience in ensuring that assignment and scheduling of work follows company policy. Must have experience in evaluating current procedures and recommends changes to improve the efficiency of planning and scheduling of projects.

     

    SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE:

    • Must possess a minimum of five (5) years of experience with the following:
    • Managing, supervising, and coordinating military communication systems
    • Planning and implementation activities
    • Managing communication architecture, configuration, and integration conformity
    • Working and communicating with military officers
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills

    JOB DETAILS:

    • Assist the project and program manager with Assist with the development a change management plan for new and changes in requirement
    • Assist with developing and executing cost monitoring and reduction plan
    • Schedule and prepare monthly progress and financial reports
    • Ability to work on several projects or issues simultaneously
    • Ability to work independently or in a team environment as needed
    • Ability to attend to details while keeping big-picture goals in mind
    • Responsible for planning and scheduling various project workloads
    • Tracks and records costs through work orders and invoices
    • Maintain all required plans
    • Coordinate internal and external reports; gathering, analyzing and summarizing data and information for project teams
    • Develop, design, and establish reporting standards for the program Evaluate and monitor the performance and efficiency of projects to ensure that timelines are met Evaluate the progress of the program and create reporting packs as required Interface with the project teams including business representatives to discuss progress as well as identifying opportunities for improvement
    • Demonstrated analytical skills and judgment to proactively identify and solve problems
    • Reviewing and improving PMO processes
    • Supporting all required planning activities and meetings
    • Understanding critical path analyses and potential impact working with Senior Project Planners to proactively identify changes to plans and support resourcing to meet such changes
    • Liaising with internal customers to review contract/budget areas that impact planning of projects or assignment of staff required to manage project work
    • Identifying and assigns the best available candidates as quickly as possible to project teams
    • Actively collaborating with the project team to ensure the client deliverables and expectations are achieved
    • Identifying the number and type of resources required for project fulfillment activities, including their location and experiences

     

    QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

    • Active Defense (DoD) security clearance at SECRET level is required (clearance requirements may change)

     

    • US Citizenship is required
    • Valid United States passport required
    • Experience using computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to accurately document routine work and while troubleshooting problems
    • Well-developed oral and written communications skills

     

    TRAVEL: 10%

     

    EDUCATION:

    • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent

    CERTIFICATIONS:

    • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certifications or similar work experience
