    Candidate will ensure communications information is available to forward deployed forces supporting continuing mission requirements of the Department of Defense (DoD) by providing support to communications systems acquisition, integration, installation, operations & maintenance (O&M) in support of USAFCENT deployed mission requirements. There is no specification or limitation to the actual tasks to be performed. Candidate will work as part of a team and must display a rigorous work ethic and possess the initiative and independent thinking to thrive in a dynamic environment. Candidate must have the ability to engineer, install and maintain network equipment to support new and emerging requirements. The candidate shall provide responsive services to include real-time network-level configuration control, network restoration, quality control and performance standards, status reporting, MSL, and other actions required by policies, responsibilities and operational support to all NOSC deployed projects.



    Must possess intermediate experience in project installations of communications systems or equipment. Must have experience in coordination the work of several different activities/agencies in project completion. Must have experience in production timelines, coordination project support agreements, and reviewing engineering design documents.



    Must possess the following intermediate experience:

    • Managing, supervising, and coordinating military communication systems
    • Planning and implementation activities
    • Managing communication architecture, configuration, and integration conformity
    • Working and communicating with military officers
    • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills


    • Candidate will assist with the management, supervision, and performance of communication systems planning and implementation activities. Level of support can be theater-wide or at squadron level. Activities include, but are not limited to:
      • Providing continuity for deployed USAF personnel on all projects and shall act as the focal point for all communication systems planning,
      • Directing and leading all planning meetings, video- and teleconferences as required by the task order
      • Coordinating with Subject-Matter-Experts (SMEs) and external agencies as required to develop project plans; brief SMEs, local command, and external agencies as required
      • Managing the implementation of communication systems projects
      • Coordinating and facilitating communications installations to include frequency authorizations, civil works authorizations, logistical work, and other aspects as required
      • Ensuring communications systems architecture, configuration, and integration conformity by coordinating engineering data through the base Communications Systems Integrator (CSI)
      • Consolidating monthly reports of all communication projects as required by the task order
      • Act as a liaison with the base level Air Force personnel to support USAFCENT operational requirements
      • Coordinating and processing deployed base requirements as required
      • Gathering, collecting and archiving requirements
      • Inputting requirement to government provided database
      • Tracking requirement throughout life-cycle



    • Active Defense (DoD) security clearance at SECRET level is required


    • US Citizenship is required
    • Valid United States passport required
    • Experience using computer systems and Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to accurately document routine work and while troubleshooting problems
    • Well-developed oral and written communications skills

    TRAVEL: less than 10%



    • Must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent


    Must meet the DoD 8570.01-m or SPIN-C certification requirement
