    The Quality Assurance Lead will be responsible for ensuring Envistacom integrated systems and products meet the established standards of quality including reliability, usability and performance. He/she will manage overall Quality Management System including product inspections (incoming, in-process, final, source), non-conforming products/services, Material Review Board, conducting/overseeing audits, corrective actions, capturing performance data, managing vendor evaluation and performance data, calibration of monitoring and measuring devices, and identifying improvements to processes and implementing appropriate changes in a manufacturing environment.

     

    Responsibilities

    • Evaluate adequacy of quality assurance standards; interpret and implement improvements
    • Develop and implement Quality Plans to meet contractual/program requirements.
    • Identify risks and contributes to risk management.
    • Identify process and product KPIs, develop data collection methods, capture customer feedback and lessons learned, and report information to Leadership
    • Devise sampling procedures and directions for recording and reporting quality data
    • Investigate and manage Non-Conforming products/services and coordinate/champion Material Review Board meetings to discuss and disposition non-conforming products/services.
    • Manage Corrective Actions and coordinate/champion Corrective Action Review Board meetings.
    • Actively participate in Peer Reviews during design and development phases of product life cycle.
    • Actively participate in Configuration Control Board meetings to review Engineering Change Notices and provide approval or feedback as necessary.
    • Actively participate in Integration meetings with cross-functional team
    • Responsible for managing calibration of monitoring and measuring devices.
    • Review products and processes on an ongoing basis to determine where improvements can be made.
    • Perform product and process audits, evaluate audit findings and develop, recommend and monitor corrective and preventive actions

     

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in related field
    • 5+ years’ quality management experience using an acknowledged framework such as ISO 9001, AS9100, CMMI or TS16949
    • Manufacturing and/or Defense Contracting experience with communications systems and products

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; proficiency with 5-Why, Ishikawa Diagram and other problem-solving methodologies.
    • Knowledge of tools, concepts and methodologies of QA
    • Knowledge of relevant Department of Defense test & acceptance processes and requirements
    • Strong knowledge of calibration and ability to read blue prints
    • Strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and databases
