    Responsibilities:

    • Work on major, more complex cybersecurity system architecture projects with full competency
    • Secure enterprise information by determining security requirements, including planning, implementing, and testing security systems, preparing security standards, policies, and procedures, and mentoring team members
    • Apply hardware engineering and software design theories and principles to researching, designing, and developing product hardware and software interfaces
    • Provide integrated systems planning and recommend innovative technologies that will enhance the current system
    • Recommend the appropriate computer platform, and communication links required to support Army technology goals and strategy
    • Coordinate the activities of the project team and assist with monitoring project schedules and costs, as needed.

     

    Requirements:

    • Experience supporting the US ARMY with the development of a security reference architecture strategy based on a situational awareness of business or system scenarios, requirements, and mission factors
    • Experience with applying a structured approach and methodology to the development of ARMY security architecture
    • Experience with presenting, briefing, or communicating analytical material
    • Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Visio
    • Ability to verify the stability, interoperability, portability, security, or scalability of enterprise security architecture
    • Ability to apply strategic thinking and leadership expertise to big picture strategy and solutions to complete and deliver tasks
    • Experience with analyzing ARMY user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate or improve security and review computer system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations
    • Experience with the identification of system data, hardware, or software components required to meet user needs
    • Experience with workflow, organization, and planning problems and developing appropriate corrective actions analytically and systematically
    • Ability to collaborate with engineers or software developers to select appropriate design solutions or ensure the compatibility of system components for the US Army
    • Ability to design and develop security solutions for complex applications problems, system administration issues, or network concerns
    • Ability to communicate with US ARMY senior government and military staff or clients to comprehend specific system requirements
    • Ability to develop US ARMY system engineering, software engineering, system integration, or distributed security architectures
    • Ability to establish functional or system standards to ensure operational requirements, quality requirements, and design constraints are addressed
    • Ability to investigate system security component suitability for specified purposes and make recommendations regarding component use
    • Ability to work as a team lead or member to evaluate and make US ARMY tactical and strategic recommendations for the system architecture, architecture of the hardware, communications, data security, messaging, applications, office automation, printing, administration, support, performance, and availability

    Active Top Secret/SCI clearance required

    10+ years experience in related field 

    Bachelor's degree or higher preferred
