Sr. RDT&E Researcher

Hourly position 50 hours a month

Annandale, Virginia


Conduct technology assessments, evaluations, and critiques as necessary to fulfill PIO objectives. The senior researcher will confer with military, IC, United States Government (USG) agencies and offices, and academic, industrial, and Contractor installations and sites to evaluate prototypes, experiments, demonstrations, and commercial products. The senior researcher will meet, interview and interact with technical proposers to evaluate the maturity, feasibility, and capability of candidate technologies in support of Cyber, EW, and IO RDT&E efforts. Maintain technical domain knowledge in relevant technology areas, conduct market surveys, trade-off analyses, and gap analyses as needed, and will assess technology demonstration proposals submitted to Rapid Fielding, PIO or partner organizations. The senior researcher will carry out QRC assessments on request to determine Technology Readiness Levels (TRLs), schedule realism, transition readiness, innovation, and prioritization.




  • Current TS/SSBI eligibility
  • Masters Degree
  • Must have Army G3 Program Management and budgeting experience
  • 20 years of experience supporting the Department of Defense in rapid capability development and or DoD special capability and development projects
