Job Responsibilities 

Looking for self-motivated, organized individual who can manage several tasks at once. This position is responsible for the installation, operation, and troubleshooting of site distributed computing equipment in conjunction with Byteworks [Atlanta] at our Springfield (where the position will be located) and Chantilly Virginia locations. You will be expected to participate in hardware/software projects and deployment plans in addition to analyzing work group systems and recommending solutions, executing production processes, perform and manage changes to equipment. Drive day to day business needs by managing processes and/or workflows and respond to customer/client requests or events as they occur. Develops solutions to problems utilizing formal education and judgement.


Qualifications

  • Proven customer service experience
  • Previous troubleshooting experience in an IT environment
  • Experience with Microsoft and Mac OS administration and support
  • Knowledge with iOS and android support and troubleshooting
  • Hands-on experience with Microsoft Outlook/Exchange
  • Strong communication skills verbal/written
  • Strong organizational, prioritizing and decision making skills
  • Experience with remote access
  • Hardware support for Windows and Apple desktop/laptop/servers
  • Wireless troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with alarms, badge readers, conference room equipment, vendor relationships, etc.
  • Strong desire to help others with a positive attitude
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced growing environment


Desired Experience:

  • Knowledge of Cisco Meraki system
  • Knowledge of Cisco UC Phone and Voicemail systems
  • Knowledge of Azure and Active Directory
  • IT Security best practices implementation & administration
  • Process compliance

Desired Certifications & Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in related discipline or equivalent industry experience
  • CompTIA A+ Certification
  • CompTIA Security+ Certification
  • CompTIA Network+ Certification

Requirement:  Must be a US citizen with an active Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI Clearance.

 

Travel: This position may require overnight travel up to 10% of the time as well as local travel between branches (this position requires working in the Alexandria office with occasional needed trips to Chantilly office).
